Become a Member
If you are a U of M student and want to help us improve mental health awareness on campus, become a member! Membership is easy and has no requirements; all you have to do is join our email list and come to as many meetings/events as you can! There are no membership dues or penalties if you can’t make it to an event. To join: email email@example.com. We have 3 set activities each month with additional events and fundraisers added throughout. We do: bi-weekly member meetings, off-week hangouts and monthly member events. Here’s more about them:
Meetings are every other week at 6:15 in Folwell 108. At each meeting we do either a mental health awareness or a self-mental health improvement activity. Some of our meetings this year have been/are going to be: chalking around campus, campus painting, and guest speakers.
On the weeks we don’t have meetings, we plan informal meet-ups to get closer as a group. We do things like study nights, going to PAWS together, pumpkin carving and more. These are at different times for each so check the email and social media for updates.
Monthly Member events
The last activity we do each month is a monthly member event. These are to let us have fun together and bring us even closer. These are generally off-campus and are free! This semester we are having a grill-out in September, going to an Apple Orchard in October and going Ice Skating for November/December.
